October 17th UC Merced had its annual Preview Day for potential students and their families to help give them an idea about what UC Merced has to offer. Tours were offered for families to show them around the dormitories and school campus. Many clubs, sororities, and fraternities tabled around the campus from morning until the afternoon giving information about their organizations.
Each of the Engineer Service Learning teams tabled as well. The UAV team made a poster and tabled with the UAV, 3-D printed parts, and other equipment that is to be used. Several families were curious about the project and team members helped answer questions about the project and about Engineer Service Learning in general.
