On 11/28/2017, the platform team took the drone out for one of its final test flights of the semester. The team made great progress in this test flight because they were able to conduct a test flight with a dummy load that represented the weight of the cameras. They were also able to test the gimble to check for stability, to see if it would be a viable option for taking the pictures with. The team was also able to test some autonomous flights through the use of mission planner, and there were no errors during the flight. The only main goal left for this team to accomplish is doing test flights with the actual cameras connected to the drone, and making sure that the camera triggering is functioning well within the system.
